The food was extremely disappointing, especially for the price and the quality of the beef. The vegetables we were served with our beef were completely soaked with oil, so much so that a pool of oil formed on the plate and ran into the beef. At one point the chef dropped a cooked mushroom on the counter next to another customer, and continued to plate and serve the mushroom with the rest of the food to us. The chef even walked into the back of the restaurant while the Kobe beef was cooking, leaving it completely unattended. For the cost of this meal, the treatment of the meat was wholly unacceptable. Like many of you, we booked because of the ease of being able to book via google reservations in a popular district. But trust me, it is a tourist trap, profiting off the Kobe beef name. I wish I could save the rest of the Kobe beef from this restaurant.
