On our final night my son and I decided we had enough seafood for a few days and decided to spend the rest of our yen on some beef. The food was excellent, and yeah, probably never had a better cut of beef. That being said, I'd had some better burgers at 1/10 the cost, but we're not talking about burgers here, we're talking about the best marbled beef in the world and it was certainly worth the experience. The same meal would have cost double in the US, but we walked out spending $300 American on a meal we enjoyed for over an hour. It was an experience neither of us will ever forget. The waiter was great and the atmosphere was pretty good as well. Nothing too fancy to feel underdressed. Yeah, I'm sure you could find better deals, but we really enjoyed ourselves just spending quality time together in a country with tradition, respect and values. Visit Japan, you won't be let down.
