Price is exorbitant and kept asking us to purchase the higher grade beef, and upgrading our set meal to the most expensive one. We had a female chef and she kept asking me almost four times about our meat cooking preferences (there was five of us) as she kept forgetting although she’s already writing it in paper. We had the sirloin, and the one tier above the cheapest meat and it was just okay. The cheaper priced meat tasted like any other meat hahahaha doesn’t taste like Kobe beef at all, and the sirloin was yes, it tasted good, but I had better Kobe beef with better pricing. There was five of us and we paid about 170,000 yen and for the price and the service it is definitely not worth it. I reckon the people who gave five stars are probably new tourist who haven’t had the chance to ate Kobe beef in other establishments with better pricing. Take your money somewhere else guys. There was literally no other people eating there expect us, and the second group that came in after us, left immediately without ordering anything after seeing the menu. There are much better option out there. Absolute tourist trap.
