well, I haven't eaten there, I tried to though. First the cheaper meat was not available, the cheapest was a wagyu, more expensive and that the chef said was chewier than the cheap one. The solution would be to buy the exorbitantly priced more expensive version. I've eaten Kobe in Hokkaido and Kobe before, and this place really looked like a tourist trap. Better to avoid. Also the amount of high score reviews seems a bit suspicious. Maybe the story of the steak not being available was true, but anyways...
