Looks can be deceiving. The interior looks quite humble but the food is exquisite. I was hoping to go to a kobe teppanyaki restaurant so I could watch the chef cook but I ended up leaving it too late so this was the only place serving kobe beef open near where I was staying. If you're looking for outstanding food late at night after most of the other kobe restaurants have closed then you can't go wrong with this place. I was the only the person in so late so that may have impacted the atmosphere a bit but the food and outstanding service made it worth every yen. Although the kobe steaks are expensive as you'd expect, the sets with sides and desserts to accompany the steak are very good value.
