While sightseeing in Japan, I stopped by here after taking the Ginza Line to Ueno, and it became one of the meals I will remember from this trip. The Kobe beef steak was beautifully cooked, tender and full of flavor without feeling heavy. For me, this felt like exactly the kind of steak restaurant experience I had hoped to find in Ueno. What stayed with me just as much was the atmosphere inside, calm and comfortable, with staff who were consistently polite and welcoming. Roland in particular made the visit feel very easy and pleasant.
