The food is great, and it is real Kobe beef, which was delicious.
However the atmosphere is abysmal.
The chef did not speak a word to us, they cooked the food fast and tried to take my plate before I had finished my last bite of chateaubriand Kobe. They had few fried veggies as sides, but no very few other condiments and the chef took no interest in recommending how to eat the beef for best experience. Last but not least, they had no cloakroom, which in such a small place full of oil fumes, means you better be ready to throw your clothes away after.
For reference, we went to an equivalent place in Kyoto just a week ago and it was light years away in terms of service and experience. Now I wish I could go back to Kyoto for that dinner...
