Definitely a tourist trap and unassumingly my wife and I fell for it. We ordered the halal chateaubriand and the fillet for the premium and it ended up costing just over £600 after service charge.
Prices are written at 100,000JPY and when calculating we didn’t pick up on the additional 0. I know Kobe beef is rare and expensive but for the amount of meat (both steaks around 150g) and the fact that it’s served with nothing else is quite shocking. Stay away and eat elsewhere, after a deeper google search there’s plenty of other halal options.
If you know your steaks your money will go a lot further if you’re travelling to Kobe or Osaka (or even elsewhere in Tokyo).
P.s. the halal menu is priced way more than the regular menu.
