Perhaps tourist trap is the concept. I don't think there was a single Japanese staff in this restaurant. Servers do speak Japanese and are trained sufficiently in the Japanese 外食 industry way, but it's just not the same when foreigners are hired to trap foreigners. I felt a bit out of place as a Japanese; seeing all the (fake) reviews I now see why. Food was very mediocre and very small for the price. I am very disappointed that Japanese 外食産業 has come to this, taking advantage of overtourism and clueless tourists. It made me sad actually.
