The food and staff were great, but I’m deeply disappointed with what was clearly the management’s direction. I went to one location and told them what I wanted. They said that the space was booked for a private party, and led me to their other location nearby. I knew it was a white lie, very very clearly not true, but I let it go. At the other location I could tell that they wanted me to order a more expensive steak, and when I didn’t they had a very inexperienced server serve me. She was wonderful and is the only reason that this review isn’t 0 stars. Overall it felt like they were filtering me down to the lowest level of service because I was a poor dumb tourist who doesn’t know any better. The steak was good but if $150 isn’t enough to get the “right” experience then it’s not an experience that I want to have. Maybe I am just a rube after all.
