TOURIST TRAP - All of the staff were foreign - Mandatory 10% tip (in Japan???) - Cut was not shown beforehand We ordered the 9000 yen kobe beef fillet. The cut wasn’t shown to us beforehand so the cut could’ve been anything. We were left alone 30 minutes after we finished our food without anyone checking in on us. Although the staff were nice and informative, it felt like you were in a hospitality class final with exchange students. Nothing wrong with that, but for a 10,000 yen minimum with a mandatory 10% tip, we were a little disappointed. The food is not worth the price at all. If you’ve been to Steakland or any other Kobe beef places, you’ll immediately notice the big difference. This was our last night in Japan, and it definitely left a bad taste. We were so disappointed.
