Had a great experience here today. Getting to try Kobe beef and served in different ways. The staff were extremely friendly, were happy to speak English with us, and explained all the menu options and let us choose without pressure. We could choose the grade of Kobe and the food options we wanted to have. We had Kobe sushi, sashimi and then Kobe beef on its own with a side of vegetables. Soup, salad and rice were included in our set. The beef was prepared rare to medium rare and we were given a small grill at the centre of our table to cook it longer if we chose. The beef was the best I’ve ever had, but the staff making it easy and explaining everything made the experience. They offered to take our picture too, and made it funny for us. Made us feel good for a bit to be tourists in Tokyo where it’s not always so easy to get by not speaking Japanese. I recommend this place to anyone wanting to try Kobe beef in Tokyo, and it’s conveniently located a short walk from Senso-Ji temple where you will probably visit in Tokyo anyway.
